if u guys wanna argue about the m3′s speed around a track. lets just take a look at the new mustang boss 302/leguna seca edition. dollar for dollar – it’s proven to beat the m3 easily. m3′s are really overrated at this point and are long overdue for a refresh.

“better” or “m3 killer” are all terms idiots use in the industry to create hype between the products. I’ve personally driven a c63 amg sedan, and the sound is just flat out amazing – not to mention the power and torque. overall, the mercedes interior is a step above anything bmw can product. and lets be honest, you’re not going to use 100% of the m3′s capability every second while driving in the real world, even though it is undoubtedly faster on a track.

@zachattack83 nope. the one time on youtube top gear pinned the M3 against the c63 AMG they did not show the conclusion of which car was best. If you see the full episode they go back to the studio and they ALL agree that the M3 was best, and that the Audi and Mercedes were copies and not as good. The M3 will always be better than the c63 AMG. After all, the RS and AMG devisions were just made as copies of M Power by BMW… get your facts right.

Everybody is talking shit about this car on here !! Are you kidding me? This car is badass… I mean sure an m3 probably beats its lap time around a track but this mercedes is a comination of luxury , power , and style. Kind of in the same way the cts-v does but not as fast. And lets all remember the m3 nearly gets beaten by a stock 2011 mustang gt… Which is 29k … So the m3 isnt the greatest on earth

4.3-4.4 seconds to do the 0-60 dance? IMO, that sucks! The Automatic 2009 370Z C&D tested April 2009 did 0-60 in 4.6 seconds, and was limited to 156mph, 1mph higher then this “so called” M3 killer. What the hell Benz!? I’ll take a Z over this any day. Shorter wheelbase, manual tranny, and loads cheaper!
I think Mercedes missed the mark on this one =/
